FREE IT TRAINING: Ages 18-24

Free IT Training: Ages 18-24.....internship opportunity

If you know any one with a high school diploma or a GED who are between the ages of 18-24 yrs old and have an interest in IT. Refer them to this site http://www.yearup.org to learn more about this free program.
This program asks for a 1 year commitment between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm. They provide the student with a stipend and after six months, internships at companies such as Freddie Mac and AOL to name a few.

READ: JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR HIGH SCHOOLERS

READ trains and supports high school students to provide structured, research-based one-to-one tutoring to at-risk kindergarten and first grade students in basic reading skills.

READ tutors have ongoing training, and all tutoring is done under the supervision of licensed teachers.
The READ summer programs run 3.5 hours a day for 23-25 days, usually on the same schedule as the Department of Education summer school.
READ tutors earn $8.50 per hour.
