This FREE skills training and job placement program aims to promote diversity in NYC’s production industry and create new career opportunities for young adults who are unemployed or low-income. This program is really useful,may help many,is there any other programs like this.Thanks for sharing.
From a person that completed that PA program -- it's a waste of time if you have a quick head/ fast learner. I sincerely feel they cater to those people that wanna drive trucks and other blue collar type of jobs in the film world. But don't bother with the program if you wanna work in a production office. Just go try to find out what's filming in your area, get they're number and call them .
It's informative program but in the long run the job placement they promise is false.
I am applying for that program tommorrow. I know they have listed what the requirements are, but what are they REALLY looking for because I applied for the last season and didn't get in. I want to do more than just drive trucks, but I'm new to New York and I figured this would be a great way to get my foot in the door. Any Advice?
